I started thinking about contributing to society by educating deaf children. Considering the interest of these children's, I, Siddesh. B.C., as inspired by Mr.Shivakumar H. R. and Mrs. Jagadamba Sadashivaiah, started the school on August 4, 2016 (located near J. C. Pura, C. N. Halli), providing education and boarding free of charge. I am proud to admit that my parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chandramma Chandrashekariah, contributed a lot to this.
"Education is a primary right for a child” is a slogan, but for specially abled kids, have we done it? Being in the rural and developing part of India, don't we have to support such children? What about the mentality of such a disabled children in the society?
Here at Sri Siddarameshwar Residential School for the Deaf (SSRSD), we teach languages (Kannada and English) along with maths, basic science and daily activities that help them understand the society and their surroundings and lead an independent life in the mainstream.
SSRSD is providing education along with extracurricular activities. Our students participated in various sections of TQ, district, state, and national-level compitition with the help of faculties, local sportsmen and experts. Resulting our children’s winning medals, prizes, and certificates in various sections.

An independent life in the main stream of society without expecting any fee from the children's parents.
